All-In On Wynn!

Trade Thesis for Wynn Resorts (WYNN):

  • The stock is down ~38% from its recent peak.
  • This added volatility creates a nice opportunity for cash-secured puts.
  • The best way to learn and master the Triple Income Wheel strategy is by repetition.
  • Strike Zone is $76.00 - $86.00

There has truly been no place for Wynn to hide the past few months as the stock has been hit with a double whammy of concerns: Covid slowdown and Chinese regulatory concerns...both of which carry a fair amount of uncertainty.

That said, we believe the stock could be bottoming out and is a coiled spring ready to pop as these concerns alleviate...with 30%+ upside potential over the next 3-6 months.

Admittedly, Wynn has been one of our biggest losers this year (our cost basis is ~$113.00 in the base portfolio as we were assigned the stock on July 16th)...but we think that now is a good time to add to our position and ride the upside (or enter a new position if you are not in it yet)!

Writing some additional cash-secured puts right now has a better risk/reward profile than selling covered calls on WYNN.
